He had been my bestest friend since kindergarten,he had stuck beside me through thick and thin. He changed when we got to high school. he became a big fan of alcohol and party's but i was his friend just the same.
We had just graduated from high school he had invited me to one of his big parties I went along, because I thought it would be a good experience for me.
I told him not to get in the car, But he was just to drunk to listen.
I called a taxi and caught a ride home. there was no way I was getting in that car.
He told me that i would regret not getting in the car, that I would be stranded at the party for hours But in the end he didn't live to regret it, well the second part was true, he probably did regret it but the sad part is, he didn't live.
See, the car spun out of control on the highway that night, all three passengers were killed. There was no way they would have survived.
When I heard the news that my friend had died I just couldn't believe it. All the memories that we shared flashed before me. I wondered where all of those memories had gone, the years seemed to fly by.
His funeral was beautiful. Many people came to show their respects to him. His mother approached me at the funeral and handed me a white piece of paper, She told me she had found it under his bed.
I opened it and it was full of all of the memories that we had shared. he had written everything down. It was interesting to see how his writing had changed over the years.
That was when I noticed the fine print at the bottom of the page.
i did not know how much I had meant to him until that very second. I had been his only true friend and I meant everything in the world to him. There were so many things I wanted to tell him.
I don't know what the moral is to this story, or where it should end
But The experience has made me a stronger person, I have learned a valuable piece of knowledge: If you care about your friends tell them before it is to late.
