I remember

by David   Dec 28, 2004

I remember you told me
To write how I feel,
To never conceal
The true way that you feel.

You told me to write
Every feeling I had,
To gather my thoughts
And write them on a scratch pad.

So here is the way
And thoughts that I’m thinking,
Cause honestly I feel that this boat called Love
In my life is sinking.

One thing that I miss
Is the taste of your lips,
Although you dismiss
The thought of a French kiss.

Damn I regret and wish
You’d forget,
The things that I’ve said
To make you upset.

Some times I think
That your feelings have changed,
My world is rearranged
When I feel this estranged.

I wish there was a way
To show you how I feel,
So that you can see my sincerity
And then win your appeal.

The way that I feel
I can not conceal,
But at the same time it is
So surreal and unreal
That it’s hard to reveal.

It makes me so sad
And at the same time so mad,
To think that I could have been
The best part of this life that you’ve had.

I try to show you ways
To prove that I am the one,
In hope that you see
That the best is yet to come.

I know things are rough
This I never said,
But think of the future
And how happy it is ahead.

Quote:
If you Love something set it free
If it comes back it was meant to be...
