Forgive, Forget

by Mike G   Dec 28, 2004

A tear runs down your cheek
Grieving
Mourning
It gets harder and harder to speak
Bitter
Confused
As the thoughts run through your mind
Unbearable
Indescribable
All the pain you feel inside
Ripping
Tearing
Your soul just isn’t the same
Irrational
Unpredictable
All of this is driving you insane
Haunting
Taunting
The memories refuse to leave you alone
Wondering
Traveling
But you still can’t find your way home
Craving
Wishing
For relief at the end of the day
Lying
Betraying
Just so you can live this way
Believe
Accept
And maybe God will guide you through
Forgive
Forget
That is all that is really left to do
