Out of the dark God has sworn
Heavenly beauty would be born
Beauty created by a divine entity
Gazing back at itself through eternity
And the Almighty said let there be light
Breathed into the angels and gave them flight
And a beautiful day came out of the night
This eternal beauty would be out of sight
Out of the dark came light, God has sworn
Let the waters divide. let the waters be torn
And the waters ran deep, and the waters rose above
Then the waters came back to earth, like heavenly love
He saw it was good, and then God swore
The waters would gather to the shore
And the seas would roar for evermore
Dry land appeared where there was none before
Out of the water, earth, wind, and fire God has sworn,
That the fruits of the earth would grow and adorn
The garden of Paradise, where life would be born
Only one fruit would be forbidden, God would warn
Divide the lights, God has sworn
Once again the heavens were torn
And again there would be a new morn
But the dark was not foresworn
Let the sea and the air have creatures, God has sworn
So the creatures of the water and wind were born
And beauty was created, again with His power and might
And the creatures swam, and the creatures took flight
Let there be creatures of the land, God has sworn
Creatures that creep, creatures with horns
Creatures of the dry land of every kind
Beautiful creatures, from a beautiful mind
Let us make man to our own image God has sworn
To His image and likeness man was to be born
And God took a day for His rest
Then took a rib from Adams breast
The Divine Artist Who created all the beauty He did conceive
Out of Adams rib would create the beautiful Eve
And even after the fall, God has sworn
Beautiful life eternal would be born
