The problem

by vanessa   Dec 29, 2004

The problem isn't what you say, it's what you don't say.
The problem isn't that you lie, it's that i believed you.
The problem wasn't finding you, it was trying to forget you.
The problem isn't loving you, it's that you don't feel the same way.
The problem isn't letting you go, it's that i don't want to.
How to get rid of you, if i don't have you?
How can i distance myself from you, if you're so far away?
It's like trying to find an eyelash on something that never had an eye.
It's like trying to get to the bottom of a bottomless pit.
It's like trying to get to the end of a number line.
How to try to remember happy times we spent together, when they don't exist?
but...
*The biggest problem isn't that you hurt me, it's that i pretend you don't!

I like it, and the main reason i like it is that you put into words what a lot of people have had/still having trouble saying, and that so many people are able to relate to this, great work.
