Very heart felt poem. Your usage of words brought out a lot of emotion while i read it. I felt the pain and sorrow in all of this, just by reading it. I really love it.

You should put "just" between would and go! It's up to you!

Wow!! I am speechless. Kool stuff, and splendid story in a poem. Love the swist you put in the middle, about feeling his warmth embrace. It came from no where and then suddenly you mellowed the tempo to something sad. Good write.
