Walking away

by Brandon Carnell   Dec 29, 2004

We sat on the park bench looking at each other with tears in our eyes. "If its the only thing we can do then we should do it" she said. I nodded and looked at the ground. That instant everything we had done together came back to me. Our first kiss, when we first had sex when we first held each other at the high school late at night and when we said "i love you" for the fisrt time to each other. More tears crept up to my eyes. We stood up and huged each other. The look she had on her face still tears me apart to this day. When she started walking away it was the hardest thing Ive had to witness. It was also the hardest thing not to go after her. I still think ho hard it was for her to walk away, and not turn around. Watching someone walk away from you and not going after them is always the hardest part of breaking up.
