True Love

I used to be in love with you
But everything just changed
Just because I danced with him
Your life just rearranged

You thought that I was cheating
But I really loved you
So you hit and beat me to the ground
There was nothing that I could do

After that dreadful night
You ran from the scene
The authorities never found you
Your just another wanted teen

Then I met another
I thought we were truly meant to be
Until the day you commitied a crime
Not too soon they'd let you free

I cried and cried and cried
Until you came along
You came and sang me a lovely tune
A very pleasant song

We too had fallen in love
But it wasn't meant to last
These memories still haunt me
Will they not stay in the past?

You started ignoring me
So you'd look cool for your new friends
I tried to get you back to normal
I tried to fix the broken ends

But unfortunately you were gone too
Pretending to be something that you're not
And after that last realationship
A good lesson I was taught:

"A true love is an angel
That comes from above
Who knows when the angel will come
But you'll know it's the one you love."
