It's okay when people don't understand
It's okay because I ain't ashamed
It's alright that I'm made fun of and picked on
It's alright, 'cause I'm the one to blame

And I have feelings like everyone else
I know what it's like to fall in love like you
I know how it feels just to keep my mouth shut
When I just wanna puke

I know what it's like to be beaten down
Hurt to the point I wanted to die
I know what it's like to see my dreams disappear
Or to stay awake all night and cry

I know these things,
but I've missed a lot
And every day is a new chance to fight
