They’re still clinging on to hope of finding them alive.
But it’s hard to say if they ever will.
Just a day after this happened,
Thousands are gone,
Their spirits lifted from this Earth.
Families torn far apart,
People left lonely and hungry,
Children left homeless and scared.
For the first time in years,
Many countries pull together in this time of need.
Donating time and supplies.
People begin making sacrifices to aid the needy.
Giving thousands, adopting children, and overall, being there.
I’m proud to be from such a country,
That is always their when needed.
