Let it all come to me

by Libby M   Mar 8, 2003

Let it all come to me like rain
Let me feel, let me be, show who you are
And I will listen to what you don't say
Walking you home, laying down with you
Listening to the unstopable beating of your heart
Take me in your dreams only if it is for one sweet night
Let me unfold the the emotional distress
I constantly feel, help me not to feel so much catastrophe
When something goes wrong
Late nights I envision your sweet face
The minute I close my eyes, you is what I see
You is what I call my haven
The comfort I feel, the assurance of being safe
I vivdly see you and feel you in ways that I find myself
Breathless at times
I try to hide that mirth on my face when I am near you
But nothing seems to work
When I saw you the other day, I thought it was an image
Of you
I thought I was doomed for I have gone insane
But I looked again, it was not an imitation of you
But it was really you standing there smiling back at me
