Expectation

by Amanda   Jan 2, 2005

I don't ask much from you.
hardly, i speak a word.
every time i talk to you,
you only seem to hear me blurred.
what i am saying doesn't seem to reach out to you.
you don't see the truth.
I'm tired of the told you so's,
with all those other girls.
open up your eyes,
for all your vision seems to be is tunneled.
i can't pretend that I'm okay.
you just cling to other girls
and you never speak of my name.
how many do you have hidden away ?
kept secret in your mind...
how many do you toy with ?
wind them up,
then watch then die.
how many times are you gong to use me ?
then act like there is no shame.
what can you expect from me ?
when you come to me,
but go for that other girl.
