A True Happiness

by Lisha Renae   Jan 2, 2005

We Weren't exactly Best Friends,
But More Than Acquaintances,
Yet it hurts just as if we were B/F's.

You Lived Everyday as if it were your last,
Not a Moment Went Past,
That you weren't finding some way,
To Brighten Someones Day,
Always making us Laugh,
And Forget about our Pain.

Why Does it always have to be,
The Good people who are taken first,
Why Couldn't it Be,
Someone like me??????

Just not you,
You and your smiling face,
With your Rosy Red Cheeks.

I wonder what you were Thinking,
In Your Last Moments,
I wonder what you said,
Or if there was anything to say.

You Probably had a smile on your Face,
You Probably still do.

You're probably sitting up in Heaven,
Shedding Not a Single Tear,
Living Without a single Fear.

You're probably looking down at us,
Laughing Upon Us All,
Cracking Some Joke.

You've always been happier,
Happier Than All Of Us,
A True Happiness though,
A Happiness,
That Very Few Get to Feel.

I dont think your happiness,
was taken away,
I think its There To stay.

~*~Nick, You Taught Us So much, nobody will ever forget you. You meant everything to us. There will be an empty chair in the classroom, and an empty place in my heart. Just in case you ever wanna drop in, and Let Us In on another one of your Jokes.~*~
