Try So Hard....

Put on your smiles,
Fake as they are.
Pretend life is great,
I know it's not hard.

Try to act normal,
Though you brain is a mess.
Use all the lies,
That you have been blessed.

Shiny People,
How we all act,
Everyone knows,
Don't try to look back.

No one admits,
But everyone feels.
Some deeper than others,
Sometimes it kills.

Pretend it's alright,
Pretend it's okay,
Put on that mask,
Continue the charade.

Put on your smiles,
As fake as they are.
Pretend life is great,
It won't get you far.
