Mommy don\'t go

I tried to listen as mom and dad whispered.
He sounded so sad when he said I love you and kissed her.
I asked them what was the matter
Mom said nothing lets go make cake batter.
Mom dad and I spent a lot of time together
Mom looked me in the eyes one day and said i love you forever
She was at the Doctor a lot..i don't know if for medicin or a shot
But one day mom lay in a hospital bed
when i came in she leaned up and kissed my head
A few days later daddy told me mommy was dead
I asked dad one day"why did god take mommy she was a beautiful ballet dancer"
He said "god took her because mommy had something called cancer"
I was six then..I'm sixteen now..
I was a ballet dancer to
But not anymore because daddy has something called cancer
