You Mean the World to Me

I sit here watching the stars
And Every moment without you
Leaves penetrating scars
Deep in my heart.
I wish that I could wake up
And know that I can see you
But everyday I get my hopes up
Because I know it isn’t true.
I can only see you in my dreams
And I wish it were different
But without you life seems
Like it’s not worth living.
I go to bed every night
Praying to god that you’re safe
And I hold my pillow tight
Til the break of dawn.
If there were anything I could do
Than baby you know I would
Especially if doing it would make me see you
And I would risk my life for you baby!
I love you with all my heart
And I hope nothing little
Will ever tear this love apart
Because you hold that one and only key
To my heart!
