DESPERATE WORDS

When I need to talk,
I'm not sure where to start,
Its harder than I'll admit,
Speaking from the heart.

These words inside,
Can be so difficult to say,
And i guess even harder,
For me to try and convey.

Tears are held inside,
So afraid to be shown,
They'll come with the words,
that are afraid to be known.

So here I'll sit in silence
Not sure how to put into words,
Of all the pain and sorrow
that so desperately needs to be heard.
