God's Plan

You were God's angel,
This I truly know.
I wish you stayed longer,
But I know you had to go.

I can't stop missing you,
It's more and more each day.
I don't know what else to do,
The pain won't go away.

It's difficult to think,
That God would take my friend.
I wish it was my life,
And not yours that had to end.

God took you for a reason,
One day I'll find out why.
I'll know the burning answer,
