Each stitch torn

I was vulnerable and you knew that
me, a lost girl you saw
you took me in, cared for me
listened, to me you opened your door

but that same door's been slammed
in front of me, in my face now alone again
still you smile my way each day
as if you caused not an ounce of pain

selfish, pathetic, spiteful
you've the nerve to show your face
you knew you'd kill my soul
that i was delicate, like lace

still you viciously smashed and broke
slowly tore each stitch so fragile
you heartlessly wrecked all that was me
somehow i was blind to your ways so vile

my friends and family fell
life turned into living hell
now I'm left upset and emotional
because you made me so vulnerable

so please don't push me
please don't shout and bawl
please just turn around
because you let me fall

you let me carry on cutting
tear after tear,let me cry each night
at first you had pretended to care
but ended just adding to the fight

well now I'm in this pit
of blackness and misery
i hope you're happy in the sun
with the honey pots and bees

because thats where i wish to be
but i guess dreams take there time
maybe one day ill be back up there
and can honestly say I'm fine
