The Glass Soul

by Natalie McPhee   Jan 2, 2005

The soul separates,
Emotions and dreams,
Stand alone,
Transparent,
Between two star-crossed lovers,
Pulling apart their loving gaze.

This tortured Soul,
A barrier,
An answer to all hopes and wishes,
Divides,
A young hearts, warm embrace, with,
A tender Kiss.

The glass is shattered,
The dreams disperse,
Eyes light up,
Hearts begin to race,
A lovers embrace,
Celebrate,
The souls defeat.
