Listen to me...

I've been trying to tell you, you don't understand
I can't compete with what you demand
why can't you listen to me for a sec
just some advice, won't break your neck
I just want you hear what I have to say
before you go wishing your life away
you're so immature, why can't you see
who the girl is, that you used to be
happy and smiling, bouncing off the walls
tripping on stairs, making dumb falls
but now you're trying to be way to cool
and in the process you're making a fool
oh why cant you listen to your old friend
why do you x out whatever I send
I'm trying to help you, just know I'm trying
and you just yell and run away crying
you say your life is awful and I don't know
what is really going on below
well welcome to life, that’s how we all feel
if you don't, I doubt you're even real
just suck it up and stop gloating about
if you're sad, just go alone and pout
because I'm sick and tired of hearing your scream
and acting like such a drama queen
just grow up for a minute, grow up for a day
and listen to what I'm trying to say
you saw me hear, you saw that I tried
and you were to proud and cast me aside
well I'm leaving right now I'm just through
if you don't want me, then why should I want you?

this is an awful poem I'm just getting pissed at my friend who tried to change to be popular and now tries to get attention by saying she has an awful life and is a mess when the only problem she’s ever worried about is herself
