The way you left,
was not so good;
Mom begged you to stay,
we thought you would!

I remember clearly,
like it was yesterday;
February 14, ‘96,
family took me out of school early that day!

They told me we had to go to the doctors,
someone was sick;
Now I know that,
that was only a trick!

You had a heart attack,
when you were at your job;
When I heard the news,
all I could do was sob!

I remember at your funeral,
I didn’t even cry;
Cause I had no idea,
what it meant to die!

I thought you were just sick,
you were gonna come back;
I had no idea what it meant,
to have a heart attack!!

I didn’t even have,
a chance to say bye;
Now my only question,
is “why!?”

Why’d you have to leave,
so fast so soon;
Why’d you have to leave,
when I was still watching cartoons?

Now I have to wait,
til I reach my end;
So I can be with you,
all over again!!
