So much pain
Always contained
Never released
Forever chained

I can't let it out
Can't let you see
Don't want you
To feel pity for me

Anger I can deal with
Disappointment and hate
But if you're trying to save me
You're way too late

See, I've been hurt
My whole life through
You say you understand
But you don't have a clue

Because you don't understand
The thoughts in my head
You don't understand
That I want to be dead

Maybe it's because
I won't let you see
Maybe it's because I'm afraid of my pain...
Or just afraid of me
