No-one Cares

I actually entered this poem into a competition and it got a third place award. I was quite surprised lol. Only problem is, I couldn't share the win with anyone because that would mean I would need to explain the poem... And yes.. Lol. Anyway, Hope you enjoy =) xxx

Dodging the hateful words
Hiding from the truth
Tell another lie
No one has the proof

Stealing all the attention
Hoping time will stall
Shattering the glass
Taking another fall

Fading into the darkness
No one seems to care
Losing all memories
Yet none were ever there

I'm a phoney I'm a fake
I'm nothing but lies
I'm the girl people hate
Who we all despise

Look behind the smile
See what's really there
And once you do
Don't pretend to care
