It’s the New World

by Ð맆îñ¥   Jan 3, 2005

A time will come when even the cats will pray
A time when diamonds are worthless
Rain clouds will rarely darken the sky
Fire restricted to the hearth
Sunsets fill the sky

Everyday a postcard picture
A time when religion brings no conflict
When people understand the teachings
And help rather than hurt

Someone will find the end of a rainbow
All broken hearts will be healed
This time may come

A time when people will sail out
Set for adventure
And things like the space race lost
Competition forgotten

Indians will have their land
And share it with the world
And even then will watch the moon
Admiring all its beauty

People will not hide behind their flimsy beliefs
They’ll shout out and be proud
All weapons buried; they’re not needed
In a world of peace

Calm seas greet those weary fisherman
The moon watches over the tide and
Allows a few golden waves to join the rest
Times are special

Men build their own homes
But leave trees as best they can
People live on idyllic islands
Offer love to the above

Every road leads somewhere
People lend a hand
Evil frozen, it lies hidden
Never to be found

This world could be our own
It takes love and effort
People destroy their prejudice
Learn to love the world around them
