This Cross Around my Neck

This cross around my neck
Helps me to cope
And symbolizes
something known as hope

If I'm scared or I'm worried
My cross is always there
to remind me that no matter what
Jesus always cares

He cared so much he died for me
Upon that wooden cross
And now that I know that
I am no longer lost

This cross around my neck
reminds me of his love
And symbolizes, not jewelery or fashion
but my faith in God above.
