*A friend of mine told me that they had to write a poem about education, so I quickly wrote this up. Read "Click" if you dont like it, lol*

Education sucks my left nut
Its pointless to fail life
But needless to say
You are putting to your neck a knife
If you don’t simply get an ‘A’
You see many people succeed
Based on simple work ethics
And many people leave
Smarter men and women,
It’s pathetic.
Life based on a few assignments like this
Determine whether we will live in a life of hell
Or Bliss
Working problem day after day
Boredom denotes failure
No challenge exists this way.
I can’t express exactly why
but we live in a world where
Monkeys can end up president
I don’t want to be a resident
Education should be redefined
It should be called Waste-of-Mind
Lesson after lesson, repeated day after day
Learning the same thing every three years
Kids are smarter than you would know
They have their own thing, and this kind of work puts me in tears.
You will find that the smart ones are very good at certain things
And find the work at school simple and uninteresting
But whether or not they are actually skilled
If there aren’t ‘A’s on that card, life’s determining bill
Then that prodigy of a child will end up just frying food
Is that what you want them to do?

    maaaannn....
    talk about contradiction. 1st you say "give" and act all conscious of this people in 3rd world countries, and then you go on and on about how you HATE what is making people valuable members of society. where im from, you cant even BUY what you have, but you get it for free and you b ! t c h about it. go a few countries down, public education is crazy with 80 kids per class and teachers as dumb as anything, and crumbling buildings, no books, no computers...if there even IS public education in the area, that is. i know im lucky cause some years ago my grandfather broke out of farm life and got a scholarship. if he hadnt been so willing to learn at school, id be in some farm somewhere. you dont know how f u , c k ! n lucky you are, and its sad. go become a 30 year old farmer who cant read or write, getting by on 50 cents a day, and THEN b ! t c h about how "education this, education that". yeah i dont like school, and it aint perfect, but beleive me, the alternative is much worse. thats it. im out.

    Hannah....my god, if you think pe is useless, that may explain why you are fat and/or nerdy. look how fat the kids are over here! what we need is MORE excerise!

    no s h ! t, but how do you want people to know if you actually know math without testing and grading? and if no one knows if anyone knows math, how are you supposed to emphasize subjects? help individual children? go over stuff?

    That was also very good! Kinda true about not getting A's; just because you can't pass math doesn't mean you can't do math! And alot of subjects are useless! Agrilcuture, P.E., Sewing, et cetera. heeheehee keep up the good work!
