Eva: A Small Gift

by Lisa   Jan 3, 2005

In memory of you-I write you this poem.
A small gift from me, something you can have of your very own.
What I loved about you the most-to cheer me up, you would try.
Laugh and joke and smile-to help me so I wouldn't cry.
Best of all you would just talk to me-and be OK with me letting my problems out.
You didn't let anyone know what I said-or even what it was about.
Whenever you have a problem-don't hesitate to call.
Don't worry about what we'll do-shit we can even go to the mall.
You've helped me with my swearing :p and corrected most of my misstakes :D
Don't lie to yourself Eva-you're the best friend any person could make.
You're vibrant in purple and pretty in pink.
I love how you're yourself and don't care what other's think.
This may be an unfinished poem-but really could have no end.
Because there's no real way to sum you up.
All I can say is-Thank you for being my friend.
