Dreaming of you...

Whilst I'm asleep everything seems right,
We never argue, fuss or fight,
I dream of us, we're hand in hand,
Walking bare footed across white sand,
Our hearts intertwined, our love is still strong,
'Cause in your arms is where i truly belong.
Oh how I wish that dreams lasted forever,
For when I awake we're no longer together,
I miss you much more as each day does pass,
I thought we'd be happy and always last.
So please let me sleep, like a baby tonight,
Let me dream of you kissing me, holding me tight,
I wish that you felt the same, dreaming of us too,
Dreams, the only reason I can still sleep on through.
