The Magic Wand

by ShatteredAngel   Jan 3, 2005

I know you can do this,
but why won't you even try?
The pain inside must hurt you,
but please my friend don't cry!

All you have to do,
is believe in yourself and your dreams,
And once you find the power,
you'll know you can succeed.

But in order to find that power,
and to reach the world beyond,
You need to give it up,
you don't need the magic wand.

The magic wand only hurts you,
I can see the pain in your eyes,
Please listen to me and the truth,
don’t listen to its lies.

One puff might turn to two,
and two might turn to three,
But who really knows,
maybe this is meant to be.

But you could become addicted,
it could take away your life,
And you won’t get to grow up,
you won’t get to be a wife.

You won’t believe in yourself,
you won’t conquer your dreams,
You won’t find the power,
you won’t know how to succeed.

But I know it’s life you will conquer,
for you have the power within,
And in the end you will show them,
for it’s you who deserves to win.
