The tears dripped down your cheeks
your happiness faded away
Yet time didn't stop
to hear what you wanted to say

However, I'm here for you
and I'll listen to your heart
I'll hold you while you cry
about the thing that tore your world apart

I'm here for you forever
you can count on me
I'm here for all of time
I'll be who you want me to be

Please dry your tears
and let your smile shine through
It can make everyone happy
simply because it's from you

Rest your head
you can lean on me
I'll be your shadow
just wait and see

The sun will shine again tomorrow
so please don't cry
You could be so many things
if only you'd try

You can count on me
to be your shining star
Don't let this bring you down
it isn't who you are

Just wait and see,
the sun will shine through
Because I promise I can make
your gray sky blue
