How can it be,
You can seem so nice?
But the say crushing words,
Like your hearts made of ice?

How can it be,
You can seem to understand?
But when I really need you,
You snatch away your hand?

How can it be,
You can usually cheer me up when I'm down?
But then say words that destroy me,
That make me cry and frown?

How can it be,
You can make me smile almost any day?
But when I really need you,
You turn and walk away?

How can it be,
You can make me like and trust you?
But then make me wonder,
If Ill see another day through?

How can it be,
You can seem to be so kind?
But then cause suicidal thoughts,
To wander in my mind?

How can it be,
You can often act like you care?
But when I'm crying in a corner,
You laugh and leave me there?

How can it be,
Your the reason I'm still here?
But your also the reason blood trickles from my wrists,
Making death come far to near?
