Broken dreams and broken hearts
so many things that have fallen apart
tears that fall like a winters rain
sadness and depression from all the pain
lies from those you thought you knew
truth that comes from very few
emptiness and hurt within the sole
the feeling that nothing can make you whole
change that seems to hard to handle
so many knots to hard to untangle
the feeling that nothing will ever go right
the feeling of death that you must fight
then all of a sudden something happens
the feeling that there is no more sadness
the feeling that all the pain has gone away
the feeling that you are ready for another day
a heart that is no longer aching
a head full of thoughts no longer racing
friends you feel are really true
the thought of happiness and something new
something so good you can hardly wait
a boy who seems so perfect, it must be fate
then the thoughts of the pain come back
the thought of being hurt again like that
then the feeling of happiness returns
becasue what makes you stronger are the lessons learned
