Underground rivers
hide beneath a deadly land,
flowing quietly.

Even in a harsh locale
life will find a way back in.

Beautiful. I love the symbolism portrayed in such a naturaly beautiful way and how it was related to objects of nature. I especially admired the last two lines, it really adds a lovley glimmer of hope and inspiration to the piece, good job

I enjoyed this one, though I found the "ebbing quietly" to seem at odds with the culminating point. Ebbing quietly would be more similar to dying in silence, than surviving secretly.
