New Year

It’s a New Year
With a new beginning and even an end
Time to rejoice in yourself
And to no longer pretend

Time to let go of grudges
Let go of our pain
Start to give your everything
In hopes to re-gain

A New Year to let go of your past
An open a new door
No time to cry
It’s not worth it anymore

A Time to give thanks
For all we have
Time to give kisses, love, and hugs
To your mom and dad

A Time to laugh to much
Have way to much fun
It’s a new year
And it just recently begun

Time to seize opportunity
When its right infront of you
A time to yourself
Be true

Time to we with those you love
A New Year to find a new opportunity
A Time for you to give something back to those you love
And your community

A New Year,
The best time to let that someone know you care
And let them know through this new year
You’ll be there

A time to be kind
A Time to do unto others as you want to be done
A New Year,
A New Year of fun

A New Year
For you and your friends
A New Year that in the blink
Of an eye will come to an end

    A nicely written piece, that expresses itself well. I liked the ending, because to me, it seemed like you were saying "Yeah, you feel happy and light and joyful at the beginning of every new year, but that feeling doesn't last." Kind of made me think that people should try to hold on to it that much more powerfully. Anyway, Awesome poem.

    That was great, thanks that helped me, because i found myself cryin tonight over something that happen a few months ago and your poem just helped me relize that i need to forget, and move on cause that he doesnt matter anymore thanks alot that was great
