I resisted

by SammiBABY   Jan 5, 2005

Dedicated to the most amazing chick in the world, you rock Sam!

I haven’t cut for months,
But I felt like it today.
For the first time in ages,
I felt my heart sinking away.
I thought “Just one cut,
What harm could it do?”
I questioned this for ages,
Then I thought of you.
Your arms covered with sores,
That your knife put there,
Marks on your body and legs
So cruel and so unfair.

You don’t deserve this pain,
You don’t have to bleed,
You are a strong person,
This isn’t what you need.
You only need your friends support,
And you can always call my name.
Today I resisted cutting,
And I know you can do the same.
