We Made It!

We stumbled across paths of bitterness,
We leaped over mountains of joy,
We bumped into corners of suprises,
We trotted along roads of distress.

At times making it up to the peak of success,
Then plunging into pits of despair,
At times splashing in pools of fortune,
Then washed away by waves of mishaps.

Ups and downs; rain or shine,
We have gone through it all,
Everybody take out your hankies,
Let us bid farewell to the past.

We've made it through this chapter,
We're moving on to the next,
Hey it's a new start in life,
Behold it's 2005!
