She stands in the window
waiting for him to walk by
how she longs to hug him
and say hi

she knows shes done wrong
she left his heart soar
but if he only knew
how hers hurts more

she threw him away
she made him feel unwanted
she'll keep him in her heart
where he'll never be forgotten

as much as she wants
to run to him
she knows this time
she won't be forgiven

she drowns in her tears
she swallows her sorrows
