Stand by me...

by «-Pale-Petals-»   Jan 6, 2005

You moved away for a while,
And then you came back,
I changed but was still the same person,
Just different music, different friends and i wore more black,

You judged me so quickly,
First thing you said was i hate that shirt,
Your words cut me like knives,
And the criticism did hurt,

You say your my best friend,
But you can't accept me,
I like the person I've become,
And everyones entitled to be who they wanna be,

I've been going through some ruff times,
And i wanted you to come back from there,
But all you've done is make things worse,
To the point i can't bare,

You make rude comments,
About who i am,
All i wanted was your friendship,
I didn't expect you to understand,

You are so blind,
You cant look and see,
That i hated the way i acted before,
And now I'm really happy,

We drifted apart,
And soon we did end,
I did my own thing,
While you followed the next trend,

You didn't stand by me,
On the choices i chose to make,
I decided to be my own person,
While you remained a fake,

I still have some old friends,
Other than you,
The ones that stuck by me,
The ones that were true,

And everyones entitled to be who they wanna be," - What a gutsey line ;/ . Well done my friend.
