Shredded Wings Of An Angel

A dead soul stuck in time with no way to escape
A broken angel weeping, crying out but no one is there
A bleeding heart that no one will save

She remembers the night of her rape
Now trapped inside herself, now bathed in pains stare
She is giving up, already dug her grave

She has given up in life
You can see it in her eyes
Bleeding to death, feeling so alone, feeling so cold

Now the blade glides across her skin, and in her hand lay a knife
Remembering all the pain, all the tears...all the lies
She hates the pain, she hates herself, she hates the world

Isn't anyone going to help her doesn't anyone care?
Hold her close tell her she's loved and to stay
Take her hand, don't let her fade into the night

She feels so alone, like no one is there
Don't let her do this, don't let another life slip away
