Goodbye

You can't deny
All those times
You made me cry
Promised you'd try
... but you never did
I wondered why
You said you cared so much
With broken words
Tattered phrases and such
Why did you
Make me believe
In dreams you knew
Could NEVER be?
I guess you
Forgot to mention
You'd leave
But now you're trapped
Caught in your lie
I'm drenched in my tears
Only to tell you
I'm saying goodbye.

^ I wrote this poem like 2 years ago, and I just came across it. I know you're probably going to say it's under the wrong catagory, but I thought it was "humorous" because it's so different and far behind the poems I write now-a-days. Enjoy!
