Well, i really did enjoy the poem. As for growing cold towards the world, a lot of people in life will stab you in the back...but if you give up your hunger to help it will give that person satisfaction of whatching you struggle...Don't stop helping people because someone had burnt bridges with you....because it only shows them that you are capable to be broken....
    take care..

Great poem; raw, pointed, bitterly emotional. Good luck with the situation.

wonderful poem! i know what you mean about giving up because so many people betray you and it doesnt matter how many chances you give them they do the same thing to you over and over again. but i've learned something: people never change unless they honestly want to. its my new quote i made up last week because of something similar that happened. i noticed you changed your name, born from hate, i really like it. i hope you have a very nice day.

what you said is the sad sad truth, people suck.

most of the good people i have met on the world have been on this site, so im pretty sure this poem wasn't aimed at them(us) as much as it was people around you.

great poem, very deep, and from what i can tell very true.

You're aware the 7th of this month was the National, I'm Not Going To Take It Anymore Day?

Well, moving on slightly, I actually had a horrid feeling of deja vu.. but I've searched my brain, and I have no reminiscence of any such thing. For you to write a poem to spark such feelings in a reader is a powerful thing. Don't ever give up on a thing.

And I hope to read from you soon.

You're a great poet. Easy flowing lines, perfect structure, nice work. You remind me of someone. Can't put my finger on it.. but someday I will.
