I am alone once again

by KriiisTeeNah   Jan 6, 2005

Not paying attention, skipping detention, getting in-school suspension, having a luncheon with a bunch of freaks who think I'M the geek, and I am alone once again.
Funny times, goofy rhymes, shadow under my blanket, seeing you stark naked, music playing, bodies swaying, sodas being drunk, no tests to flunk, and I am alone once again.
Seasons changing, stuff rearranging, I get my wings in spring, after my summer fling, in winter...snow falls on him, its chilly in Autumn, and I am alone once again.
I am in a society where, if you dare, you cant be different, because you feel insufficient, and I am alone once again.
counting dimes, committing crimes, painting my nails, sliding down rails, having good health, not caring about wealth, my friends are leaving, I am grieving, and I am alone once again.
Friends keep lieing, my family is dieing, people around me are sad, and its just making me mad, hiding in a shadow, watching the meadow, and I am alone once again.
Feeling alone, no flowers have grown, scared and shaken, have I might been mistaken? I am alone once again.
No worries now, I will tell you how, another time soon, under the full moon, try and hold on, sing a sweet song, put on a happy face, I'll get you out of this place, I know how you feel, everything so real, find a friend, your alone once again.
