To My Homophobic Friends

by ♥-Sharon Ardern-♥   Jan 6, 2005

* I know this poem is far from perfect, but I just wanted to let my anger out, but please read anywayx x x x

I have a few words to say
Like screw you
And I don’t care much anyway
I won’t change cos of your spite
I am me and that’s that
Whether you think it’s wrong or right
I am comfortable the way I am
You may think you could change me
But I know you never can
You think I’m a different person now?
Because my taste has changed a bit?
Well would you like tell me how
Cos I’m pretty sure I’m the same
Except now you’ve all deserted me
I have a bit more pain
I thought friendship was through thick and thin
But you just can’t open your mind
Quoting the bible, saying it’s a sin
Ever heard of the throw the first stone?
You aren’t perfect, so don’t judge me
I don’t need your ‘friendship’ I’m fine on my own.
