An Unoticed Love

by browneyes   Jan 7, 2005

He can't remember the times he thought
She loves me, probably not
But that never held him back from admiring her beauty
Nor did it discontinue his generous heart he felt as a duty

She had a fair magnificence of a swan on a moon-lit lake
The most peacefull image of silk bare skin, making his body ache
He loved her depth in conversation, the way she flipped her hair
She presented such an impression, he couldn't help but to care

Each day with her ended in its own calming and suitable night
Walking from the stairs he'd notice little things such as the way heels changed her height
He never spoke of it, for he had far too much dignity to express his love for her
Although he did remind her of her enchanting spirits and her cute little purr

She knew he'd taken an interest by the way he'd stare unto her eyes
She admired the way he listened to her troubles, the way he'd soften her cries
He really understood her and he honestly wanted to take away the pain
He'd erupted her soul and her heart, slowly but surely she felt she was going insane

One night he held her hand, she closed her eyes to savor the little bit of pleasure she felt
He was so kind to her and he put her at ease, he'd even assured her she was very svelte
Although he never showed any sign of affection, perhaps he was very professional
Yet he had never been absent when she needed him most, nor had he ever missed to call

He was not hers to love, friends they were, they weren't a pair
But she did;t have the will to forget him, he had too much of an admirable flare
He may not love her back, but that didn't stop her from the love she desired
Naive and blind, she kept her love a secret, but she wasn't intimidated, instead she was wired

She can't remember the times she thought
He loves me, probably not
But that never put her love for him on a shelf
Nor did it discontinue the confidence she had in herself
