You Have My Memory

by browneyes   Jan 7, 2005

*This is in the eyes of a woman of cancer who is dying slowly, and is asking her husband to accept the fact that she has cancer and to just be happy with the life they have and spend it to the fullest before she dies*

No words to explain what we have
Its a discovered love to finally last
Try and understand, just accept the fact
Love me for as long as I last

Kiss my lips from which you wed
Repeat the words recited in your head
Remember the locked heart and promises you said
Keep with you the thought life together until departed dead

Watch our children and stop their cries
Seek them through out life, stand close to their side
Never be discouraged nor disappointed
Take pride in our lives, do not hide

Grow old and happy with or without me
Take care of yourself
Hold my hand as I die, don't be hurt by what you see
No suffering nor do I bleed
One last request, Move on but please don't forget me

And remember as long as you hold my soul, you have my memory
