Footprints

by Natalie McPhee   Jan 7, 2005

Sand, sea, Two Lovers
Paddle in the break of the wave,
Their feet sink,
Running,
Disappearing footprints trail behind

Sand, sea, sunset,
Two Lovers,
Laugh,
Smile,
Sit, the sun reflects on her face

Sand, sea, moonlight
Two Lovers share a warming gaze,
Brushes her fringe from her eyes,
They embrace,
Keep her warm,
After all footprints in the sand do disappear....
