No Leader In This War

by BreatheNoMore   Jan 8, 2005

Each miserable night spent in this abyss of sorrow
Every waking hour in vein of those once lost and those never to be found
Tossed into the millions that have died without a face
Disintegrating into the earth
While those glorify a soldiers place

In agony for the thrown away signs
Through the reiterated scrutiny of time
Who is to blame than that of the unfounded warrior?
Our leader in fault to prevent further sin
In that of an indulgent mind we trust to save the world from crime

Than who, I ask who must pay for the dues that follow?
Our progeny, our fathers, the children left behind
Gaze at your creation,
America the divine
And as you crawl deeper into your seclusion
Forever more, ignorance intertwines in lies
You’re killing humanity can’t you see?
This war in itself withstands to only our dictator,
A victimless crime
