The Friendship Chart

One by one
We break apart
Taken off
The friendship chart.

We try to fight
To stay together
It doesn’t work out
We fall like a bird’s feather.

We hold on tight
We try not to let go
The current of fate
Just said no.

No matter what
We never give up
We pray each night
And collect our tears in a cup.

Each day
We drink our tears
Hoping that
They will wash away our fears.

Now pain it nothing
To be scared does not exist.
We made a pact
Our names are on the list.

We remember our words
And they are strong
Our love will never vanish
So we will not go wrong.

Our friendship is special
No one can take it away
Nor land or sea can keep us
