...and as i stared down at him
with tears in my eyes...
i made him a last promise
that "again i will not cry.
although i will always miss you...
i will give it my best try.
but just do me one favor,
and don't say good-bye.
cause good-bye means forever,
and forever," i said with a sigh,
"is just too long to wait"
...he looked back at me...
and with his last few breaths,
he said "OK, then, until we meet again...
but do not remember me by my death.
remember me with happy thoughts."
and then....he left.
This was just a poem i wrote...not out of my feelings, just out of mixed feelings in my heart in general. I don't know if this reaches out to anyone, but i hope it does cause it means something to me...
